Now In Beta: Electronic Prescriptions in ShareNote
The ShareNote team has been working diligently with Dr. First® to implement an electronic prescription system within ShareNote. We are happy to report that we are currently have two providers in closed beta with plans to offer the service to all ShareNote providers in mid-July.
A Dr. First Certified Partner
ShareNote is a certified partner of Dr. First®. To receive certification, ShareNote had to implement and meet requirements set by Dr. First to be able to integrate their award-winning electronic prescription software, Rcopia®.
Rcopia®, the #1 most used and decorated standalone electronic prescription management system from DrFirst®, allows physicians to provide a higher level of patient safety and service, streamline back office business systems and save time and money through the efficiency of electronic medication orders, renewals and formulary checking.
Expected Outcomes for ShareNote Providers
Increased Patient Safety
Make more informed real-time decisions by having the patient’s medication history and allergies at the point-of-care.
Increased Time Savings
On average writing an electronic prescription takes about one minute and twenty seconds compared to three minutes and thirty seconds for a call-in.
Increased Money Saving
Avoid the 1.5% Medicare MIPPA penalties that began this year and will continue increasing year after year.
